The Qatar Furjan League 2025–2026 season (14th edition) kicked off in a vibrant sporting atmosphere with an exciting opening match held at Aspire, featuring a friendly encounter between the Qatar Furjan League team and a team representing the people of Palestine from Gaza. The match was marked by a strong sense of sportsmanship and enthusiastic support from the crowd.
The friendly match ended with a 7–1 victory for the Qatar Furjan League team, in front of a lively audience that came together to cheer both sides in a warm, brotherly atmosphere.
The opening match embodied the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity between the Qatari and Palestinian peoples, reflecting the league’s message of promoting community engagement and encouraging all segments of society to participate in sports within a competitive and positive environment.

The first official match of the league also took place on the same day, with Al Qalayel team securing a convincing 7–0 victory over Al Khisa, marking a strong start to the 14th edition of the tournament.
