The sixth edition of the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026, a fitness competition hosted by Aspire Zone Foundation under its official sponsorship and organized by Erada Fitness, is currently underway at Aspire Zone. The event brings together more than 400 male and female athletes representing over 40 countries, making it one of the region’s leading specialized fitness competitions. Since its launch in 2021, the event has established a strong presence on Qatar’s sporting calendar. The competition runs until September 14, featuring a diverse programmed that tests strength, speed, endurance, and overall physical fitness.

The opening day witnessed a vibrant sporting and spectator atmosphere, reflecting the strong interest in the competition. A large number of sports and fitness enthusiasts attended to watch athletes from different countries take on a series of challenging events, with strong engagement throughout the competitions and accompanying activities.

Strategic Partnerships Supporting the Competition

The competition is held under the official sponsorship of Aspire Zone Foundation, with Erada Fitness serving as the organizer. Seashore is the presenting sponsor, while Qatar Calendar serves as the strategic sponsor, and Al Kass Sports Channels as the official broadcaster.

The competition is also supported by Vodafone Qatar, Dukhan Bank, Commercial Avenue, Qatar Primary Materials Company, Korean Medical Center, Nabeena Holding, and Qatar Charity as the humanitarian partner, alongside Oakberry, Force Sports, Perform Athletics, Barbell Club, Recovery Club, and A13 Academy. Qommunication serves as the marketing partner.

Competition Begins at Aspire Park

The first day of competition began in the early morning at Aspire Park, with participants taking on cycling and running challenges. The events provided an intense opening test of the athletes’ speed, endurance, and ability to manage their effort.

The competitions were closely contested, with high levels of competitiveness and strong spectator engagement. The first day’s activities then moved in the evening to the Ladies Sports Hall at Aspire Zone to continue the men’s competitions.

The variety of competition venues highlights the facilities and capabilities available at Aspire Zone for hosting specialized sporting events. The Seashore Phoenix Games benefits from an integrated network of world-class sports facilities, including Aspire Park, the Ladies Sports Hall, and the Aspire Dome.

Sport Becomes a Spectator Experience

The atmosphere surrounding the competition extended beyond the competition areas, with a diverse audience attending the event. Visitors were provided with dedicated spaces where they could follow the competitions and enjoy a range of accompanying activities and services.

Cafés and restaurants surrounding the event added to the overall spectator experience, alongside a dedicated sportswear and equipment area offering visitors an opportunity to explore products related to sports and fitness.

This variety gave the competition a strong community-oriented character, allowing the event experience to go beyond watching the competitions and providing visitors with an enjoyable sporting environment. It also supports greater community engagement with sporting events and encourages more active and healthy lifestyles.

Al Emadi: Aspire Zone is Committed to Delivering an Integrated Experience

Commenting on the event, Abdulla AlEmadi, Public Relations Manager at Aspire Zone Foundation, said that hosting the sixth edition of the Seashore Phoenix Games reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting and hosting a diverse range of sporting competitions while providing a suitable environment for both athletes and spectators.

Al Emadi noted that the competition’s strong participation, with more than 400 male and female athletes representing over 40 countries, reflects the standing that the Seashore Phoenix Games has achieved and highlights Aspire Zone’s ability to host international sporting events that bring together athletes with diverse levels of experience and expertise.

He added that the first day of competition provided a strong showcase of the event’s sporting standard, particularly with the opening challenges at Aspire Park, which featured cycling and running before the competition moved to the Ladies Sports Hall. He noted that the variety of facilities contributed to enriching the overall experience for both athletes and spectators.

He further explained that spectator attendance adds significant value to the event, emphasizing that providing visitor areas featuring cafés, restaurants, and specialised sportswear and equipment outlets is aligned with Aspire Zone’s vision of delivering events that go beyond competition to offer an integrated experience for all members of the community.

International Participation and Diverse Categories

The sixth edition features broad international participation, with athletes bringing different levels of experience and expertise in fitness sports. This creates an open platform for competition, interaction, and the exchange of experience.

The men’s competition includes four main categories: Advanced Arab Men, Masters Men aged 40 and above, Men’s Teams consisting of three athletes, and Community Teams consisting of three participants.

The men’s competitions continue until Saturday, September 12, followed by the women’s competitions on September 13 and 14. The women’s programmed features three categories: Advanced Arab Women, Women’s Teams consisting of two athletes, and Beginner Women’s Teams consisting of two athletes.
